Company profile
GreenArea operates in carbon credit development, corporate emissions management and certification for the agriculture and textile sectors. Our team's experience in these fields goes back to 2021, and GreenArea was established as an independent company in 2026 by Emrah Yıldırım, one of the founding partners of Aria Green.
We provide technical consultancy and project development services to businesses across sustainability, carbon management, certification and green transition.
To date we have delivered projects in the textile, food, cement and agriculture sectors. Alongside these we have developed and run projects through GIZ collaborations, the TÜBİTAK 1501, 1507 and 1832 programmes, KOSGEB support mechanisms and the Karacadağ Development Agency.
Our team draws on a broad network of specialists, academics and consultants across environment, sustainability, agriculture, engineering and related technical fields.
How we work
Three things we say upfront
We don't say yes to projects that won't work
Not every plot of land can generate carbon credits, and not every business can obtain every certificate. If feasibility comes back negative, we say so in the first meeting. Starting a project that won't run burns both sides' time.
We are not the auditor
Certification and verification are carried out by independent accredited bodies. We prepare you for them. That separation is required by the standards and works in your favour — a file prepared without a conflict of interest passes more cleanly.
We give you the real timeline
Carbon credit projects take 12–24 months; organic conversion takes years. If you receive a proposal promising to shorten that, something in it is missing. We set a realistic schedule from the start.
